DESCRIPTION:Der zweitägige Workshop richtet sich an Personen\, die in ihr
 em Arbeitsbereich oder an ihrer Einrichtung Grundlagen zum FDM vermitteln 
 wollen und darauf aufbauend FDM-Services für ihre Standorte auf- oder aus
 bauen möchten. Neben didaktischen Ansätzen\, Methoden und dem Workshopau
 fbau werden folgende Themen behandelt: Forschungsdaten-Lebenszyklus\, Fors
 chungsdaten-Policies\, Datenmanagementplan\, Strukturierung von Daten\, Do
 kumentation\, Speicherung und Backup\, Langzeitarchivierung\, Zugriffssich
 erheit\, Publikation von Forschungsdaten\, Nachnutzung von Forschungsdaten
 \, Rechtliche Aspekte.\nDie Einheiten werden von praktischen Übungen begl
 eitet\, dabei lernen die Teilnehmenden nützliche Werkzeuge und Plattforme
 n für eine effektive Arbeit mit ihren Daten kennen. Verwendete Methoden s

 ptions for publishing research data and helps you prepare your data and it
 s documentation for publication.\nIn Part 1\, we cover the publication wor
 kflow: selecting suitable data\, checking legal and ethical requirements\,
  organizing files\, creating documentation\, choosing a licence and select
 ing an appropriate publication platform.\nIn Part 2\, we focus on bonndata
 \, the University of Bonn’s research data repository. Using the bonndata
  sandbox\, you will create a test dataset\, explore the submission process
  and gain hands-on experience with data publication in a repository. Bring
  your own dataset and successfully publish it in the bonndata sandbox!\nBy
  the end\, you will understand your publication options and have a practic
 al roadmap for making your research data accessible and reusable.\n\nA lap
 top with an access to the eduroam network is required.

  at UKB (CF RDM) and the Research Data Service Center (RDSC) for researche

 Forschungsdaten.\n\nThrough the data protection jungle: Your first aid kit
  to legal basics\, consent forms and anonymisation techniques - Navigating
  data protection in research can feel like entering a dense jungle of lega
 l rules\, consent requirements and technical challenges. This workshop equ
 ips early career researchers with a practical first aid kit for handling p
 ersonal and sensitive research data responsibly. \n\nThis workshop can be 
 attended online or in person at either Poppelsdorf or Venusberg campus. Th
 e workshop consists of a theoretical part and a practical part. Online par
 ticipants can attend the theoretical part\, only\, while participants atte
 nding in person at either location can participate in both parts.
