DESCRIPTION:In the first part of the workshop we will talk about one of Op
 en Science requirements\, Research Data Management (RDM): a range of activ
 ities and topics relating to the handling of digital research data. Here y
 ou will learn about best practices for collecting\, organizing\, documenti
 ng\, publishing and archiving research data in digital systems according t
 o the FAIR Principles.\n\nIn the second part of the workshop\, we shall fo
 cus on Open Access and the related services offered by the university. We 
 will talk about current institutional agreements between the university an
 d different publishers\, e.g. the publish & read agreements with Elsevier\
 , Wiley\, and Springer Nature ("DEAL"). You will learn how they work and w
 hat other options you have for publishing your work in open access\, e.g. 
 with financial support through our OA Publication Fund. You will also gain
  insight into self-archiving (Green Open Access) and the options provided 
 by our institutional repository bonndoc.
