Digitalization is changing day-to-day research practices across all fields of academic inquiry. This advancement leads to a growing number of neuroscience- and clinical-related research data collected, processed, analyzed, published and archived, almost exclusively, in digital systems. In this context, the term Research Data Management (RDM) refers to a range of activities and topics concerning the handling of digital research data. Ever wondered what a DMP is and why care to write one? Ever been unable to open a file, find the most recent version of a file, or worse, lost an important file? Regardless if small or big and transdisciplinary, all projects can generate enough (digital) research data to become confusing and susceptible to loss. Der Workshop gibt Einblicke in die Möglichkeiten, Methoden und Arbeitsweisen der Digital Humanities. Dabei werden unter anderem folgende Fragen erörtert: Was meint Digital Humanities? Welche Möglichkeiten bieten die Digital Humanities möglicherweise für Ihre Arbeit? Könnten computergestützte Methoden Ihre Arbeit unterstützen und ggf. erleichtern sowie nachvollziehbar und reproduzierbar machen? Ein Teil des Workshops wird die praktische Anwendung verschiedener Tools beinhalten und ein erstes Arbeiten damit ermöglichen. Der Workshop findet online statt. Es wird daher empfohlen, zwei Bildschirme für den Workshop zu nutzen, um die praktische Anwendung zu erleichtern. DienstagTrain-the-Trainer Workshop zum Forschungsdatenmanagement
Der zweitägige Workshop richtet sich an Personen, die in ihrem Arbeitsbereich oder an ihrer Einrichtung Grundlagen zum Forschungsdatenmanagement vermitteln wollen und davon ausgehend FDM-Services für ihre Standorte auf- oder ausbauen möchten. Neben didaktischen Ansätzen, Methoden und dem Seminaraufbau, werden FDM Themen behandelt. Die Einheiten werden von praktischen Übungen begleitet, durch die das neu gewonnene Wissen verfestigt und auf eigene Anwendungsfälle übertragen werden kann. Dabei lernen die Teilnehmenden nützliche Werkzeuge und Plattformen für eine effektive Arbeit mit ihren Daten kennen. Verwendete Methoden sind Theorieimpulse, Einzelübungen, Plenums- und Gruppenarbeit, Diskussions- und Reflexionsrunden sowie E-Learning-Elemente.
