This four-week online course develops practical skills for building scientific Python software that is easier to understand, test, and reuse. Participants organize projects and environments, structure computations with functions, test behavior with pytest, and validate inputs and data. The course also introduces separating interfaces from internal computation, profiling code, and measuring how data representation, disk access, compiled code, and GPU computing affect performance.
