Your research is complete and your data are ready—but where and how should you publish them?
This practical workshop introduces key options for publishing research data and helps you prepare your data and its documentation for publication.
In Part 1, we cover the publication workflow: selecting suitable data, checking legal and ethical requirements, organizing files, creating documentation, choosing a licence and selecting an appropriate publication platform.
In Part 2, we focus on bonndata, the University of Bonn’s research data repository. Using the bonndata sandbox, you will create a test dataset, explore the submission process and gain hands-on experience with data publication in a repository. Bring your own dataset and successfully publish it in the bonndata sandbox!
By the end, you will understand your publication options and have a practical roadmap for making your research data accessible and reusable.
